NORMAN: Profile

steer, Holstein, 1999

Norman was a well bred 'holsteiner' calf who unfortunately was born as a twin on a neighbors farm. Since the farmer was not in need of any more bulls, Norman and his sister were sold to Clover Hill as very young calves. Norman was a natural born leader, coming when called and bringing the cattle herd to the barn when summoned. He was a great roping steer, always honest and sporting and thoroughly enjoyed his occupation.
Norman was 'broke' to ride as a yearling.
